So, it's 2015 now...good gravy, time just flies. Let's touch base super fast.
Levi successfully weaned from the boob-juice, and after two nights, stopped trying to feel me up and strip me down the minute I'd sit on the couch. Up until then, the couch was a spot to avoid...because it seemed to be an open invitation to my nipples. No matter the time of day, if I sat on the couch, Levi would be like, 'Oh, are we doing this now?...well okay!' I could never just sit and relax. It's nice to have my body to myself...I should really start working out again...*shrug*
Christmas 2014 was such a fun day! I bought WAY too many toys, and Levi didn't nap, so he became a punk in the evening, but if ever there was a perfect day in this house, that was it!
Drew got promoted to Sous Chef, finally! He only transferred over (to what was then The Q and now Epic) five years ago as a 'Sous Chef in training'...watched several others get the title that he rightfully earned and deserved. I'm so proud of him! His schedule changed to evenings and his days off are now Monday and Tuesday. I'm excited to get to share two days off with him, instead of the one like before...but today's his first night, and here I am, bored and lonely. It's going to take some getting used to, I know. Another exciting thing is that I'm now offered health insurance and dental through his status, whoop whoop! I'm still battling my insurance for my
one appointment I went to last year, criminy!!
Tickets have been purchased for Thailand! Super stoked...of course now I get to deal with a lot of passport nonsense for Levi and myself; I just had to go 'traditional' and change my last name after getting married, damn it! After getting our pictures done at Walgreens, I ended up getting mine redone at the post office. Stupid Walgreens! "Don't tilt your head...chin up...don't smile, they don't want you to smile anymore...chin up!" Yeah, my picture turned out awful! Don't worry, I'll let you see for yourself! Anyways, so the passport paperwork has been mailed off...now we wait!
Now...let's talk Target!! That's seriously all I ever want to talk about...all of the time! I go several times a week...and sometimes several times a day to multiple locations! Addicted doesn't even begin to come close to describe my Target obsession! I have been buying every baby clearance item for Erin (who's pregnant with a baby girl and due in June!) and Fanny (who's pregnant with hopefully a boy and due in August!) because Target has tons of baby items being phased out! And then there was the toy clearance! And before that there was the Christmas clearance!! It's been so incredibly fun hunting all this stuff out...my phone, which used to be filled with pictures of my children, is now filled with screen shots of deals to be found and DCPI's to check and coupons to clip. Of course I still have a few pictures of my children, we're at Target of course, but they're still there. I'm glad most of the clearance is over...because I'm kinda spent! Haha. But I can't tell you how excited I am for holidays, just for the clearance hunt after! I have strict 'coupon-friends' who I only ever discuss couponing and deals with! Haha. I'm pathetic...but I'm okay with that!
