Here's how our living room turned out!
It started off white, white, and a little more WHITE! I'm sick of the blandness of it, with the eleven year old green couches and monster of a tv stand taking up the whole room.

We settled on Granite Grey from Valspar and painted most of the walls…more than necessary.
Then we stapled in boarding around the room, to give it a clean, smooth look, since the walls themselves are so textured…and after I came to my senses, I went and bought a nail gun and removed all the staples and replaced them with nails.
After we got it all up, filled in the cracks with caulk and spacial, we primed and then painted.
