Today's Timmy's 6th birthday!! How is it that little tiny human being that we couldn't believe the hospital was letting us take home not too long ago...how is he 6?! This is the first year that Timmy's completely aware of his upcoming birthday, "Four more days until my BIRTHDAY!" and this is the first year I haven't planned anything. I feel awful! I've always planned a birthday party with a few friends and a few DIY things...and this year it all fell through the cracks. So today we have a cake, we have a few presents, and we'll be going to Chuck E Cheese. His birthday shirt hasn't arrived, which I ordered September 1st...I suck. Drew doesn't think he'll mind our plan...I hope he's right, guess we'll see when the little monster wakes up! Ha.
Timmy started Kindergarten this year. He loves it and tells me his teacher, Mrs. Clapin, is perfect. He comes home and goes on and on about how great his day was and how much he played and how people used to think the Earth was the center of the Universe .. they were wrong because the Sun is the center of the Universe. He's really into outer space.
Levi is talking up a storm these days, which is both amazing and exhausting...because he likes to repeat some of Timmy's classic phrases that I'm not super fond of, such as "See mom, I told you..." I don't like carrots...this was a bad idea...we shouldn't go shopping. I don't care for being I-told-you-so'd. Levi's also been diaper-free for 6 days! I'm so proud of him, it was such a struggle for me. We'd have a day or two of success and then just a bunch of accidents.
But still, for the first time in 6 years, I have this very small window of being diaper-free, because I'm pregnant...and due in a matter of days...with our third, and final boy! This pregnancy has been so much worse than the others, and I'm so sick of being pregnant at this point...honestly was over it three or four months ago! Haha!! Had morning sickness, gotten much bigger, had lots of braxton hicks contractions...and now this one just keeps psyching me out on labor. That has a lot to do with why I haven't done the best job planning Timmy's birthday this year...not a great excuse, but there it is. Yesterday was my last day of work, so I'm officially on maternity leave and have 11 days until my due date. I'm excited to be off for Halloween and then Thanksgiving. I can't wait to meet this new little guy and start acclimating to our new life as a family of 5.
I've been full-fledge couponing, and rocking this town. I started an Instagram account and have quite a few followers. Through Instagram, I met another local couponer and we got together to get some diapers one day...and now we're coupon best friends! Her name's Nikole and it's so awesome because we have this 'hobby/life-style' in common, which is super rare on its own, but she's also a genuinely kind-hearted person with personality traits that you'd look for in a true friend!
Hopefully I can add pictures to this later, and possibly write another entry before the end of the year! What can I say, life is busy!
