Well, here we are, 2018! Three months in and going strong! Today and tomorrow are teacher conference days at Tim’s school (he prefers to go by Tim, because it’s easier/shorter to write, insert eye roll here) so that means no school. Three boys just wreaking havoc on my home for two whole days. Fun.
Tim and Levi are excited to build Leprechaun traps for school (Levi doesn’t have to, but wants to be included, as most little brothers do) and I just learned after over a week of planning this trap and the boys talking endlessly about how they’re going to make the leprechaun give them all his gold and Drew spray painting many things green, that it’s completely optional. I think it’s bogus for school to add to my work load...it’s my own fault for falling into the Elf on the Shelf ploy and now being extra stressed each December tying to create new, fun little ideas for this damn elf for 25 nights! But now the school’s sending home optional super awesome and incredibly fun project for them to get excited about, giving me no true options, other than just doing it. And Tim will bring his to school, Levi will have his at home, meaning we will also have to create the attempt and ultimate failure of catching a leprechaun. Thanks school.
Vince is busy in his own little baby world, where he is most certainly the center of everything. He’s so freaking cute and I know I’m his mom and that I’m completely biased...but he truly is a beautiful little human. He’s kind of vicious though, beating on his big brothers, mostly Levi because he’s his favorite.
The house is filled with my shopping craziness...the garage is overran by it, there’s piles in every room, there’s random Victoria Secret packages everywhere, completely unopened and forgotten, and I won’t even elaborate on how my parents house and shed have become my own personal dumping ground. It’s a problem. Poor Drew. But at least the weather’s starting to get nice again and he’s getting excited about golf...to kind of take his mind off his crazy, hoarding, shopping-crazed wife. Winter’s hard, I don’t feel motivated to sell anything, just buy buy buy! Nikole and I are planing our garage sale for mother’s day weekend, so only 2 months away! I’ll leave you with some pictures if I can. Nope...strangely won’t let me paste photos and I need to download a google app to do it.
